No. The food-grade silicone is soft enough to use on non-stick and ceramic without leaving a mark.
How much heat can it take?
The silicone is heat safe to 230°C, so it can rest in a simmering pot or on the rim of a hot pan.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Wash the silicone head in warm, soapy water, then wipe the acacia handle and dry it straight away. The handle shouldn't be soaked or go in the dishwasher.
