Alda is the cookware of Glen Appliances, the Faridabad company that has made chimneys, hobs and kitchen appliances for Indian homes for more than twenty years. The same kitchens, from the other side of the flame.
Where Alda comes from
An international range, made for the Indian kitchen.
Alda began as an international range of cookware for people with a passion for cooking, designed by Italian craftsmen. Good food starts with good cookware: cookware that is safe to cook in, spreads its heat evenly and is easy to keep clean.
Today the range runs from the knife and the board to the kadai and the cooker, organised the way a kitchen works: what you prep with, what you cook in, and what you store and serve from.

Glen Appliances
Most Glen appliances are designed, engineered and built in India, on CNC machines, by trained Indian teams. Alda's Luxwood boards are handcrafted in Rajasthan from seasoned hardwood, finished with food-grade oil and beeswax and nothing else.

Food-grade 304 steel where it meets your food, a ceramic coating made from sand, a PEEK non-stick formulated without PFAS, pre-seasoned cast iron, and hardwood finished with oil and beeswax.
Made for Indian heat
Tri-ply steel and 4mm-thick non-stick, built for the flame a gas ring really throws and the dals, curries and tadkas cooked over it.
Built to be kept
A lifetime warranty on tri-ply steel, and wooden boards that come back with a coat of oil. Cookware you keep, not replace.
